Hood River’s most desirable downtown lofts have begun construction on ten more units to be available 2024
The Union Building is a historic landmark in the heart of downtown Hood River. Built in the early 1900’s as a rail shipment facility for the local fruit industry, the Union Building has been dormant since the late 1960’s.
Since 2004, the Union Building has assumed a new purpose, undergoing renovation into studios and office spaces. In 2018, a portion of the building was reconstructed into six residential lofts which are now sold.
Construction on an additional ten units has begun, with projected completion in 2024. These new urban lofts include up to 1,500 square feet of living space plus a two car garage and roof top terrace. The ground floor provides parking, a workshop, and storage, while the second floor is made up of a master bedroom, master bath, laundry, storage, and a flex room. The third floor has a second bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining, and living space. The rooftop terrace has expansive views north toward the Columbia River and Washington mountains, and views to the south overlooking downtown Hood River. The terrace is designed with privacy garden planters, a patio and a barbecue area.
Own a piece of history and live right in the center of downtown, close to shopping, breweries, restaurants, and a short walk to the waterfront park.
